Apuntes para un análisis simbólico de la experiencia turística

The object of this paper is to propose a structuralist symbolic analysis model based on the dichotomy everyday time/space versus tourism and its relationship with recreation/sparing dimension. A bibliographic review studies that analyze tourist experience was carried out, in which, one hand, high recurrence conceptual rites passage liminality identified and, other, need rethink some aspects such approaches. In particular, author proposes adopting idea liminoid rather than liminality, as well move from functionalist approach one. proposed allows, theory, meet these needs it hoped light empirical information, will constitute useful way explore practices greater specificity.
